The Prieshach

The Prieshach is undoubtedly Hopeman Golf Club’s signature hole. Whilst the hole is only 150 yards long, the green lies more than 100 feet below the tee, protected by two bunkers left and right, and with gorse and heather not far away. Depending on wind conditions, almost any club in your bag might be selected.

The views across the Moray Firth are spectacular and it is possible to see local dolphins playing in the waters close to the shore. Open Champion and Honorary President of Hopeman Golf Club, Paul Lawrie OBE , described the hole as “one of the best par 3s I have ever played”.
